
About Sean Calloway
Sean brings over 30 years of diverse experience in both residential and commercial sectors. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Citadel in 1992, he began his career as a field engineer at SC Hondros & Associates. In 1995, advanced to the role of project engineer at Metric Constructors Inc Following five years of hands-on construction experience, Sean shifted his focus to engineering design, further enhancing his professional skill set.
Sean then moved to ColeJenest & Stone in 1997, where he played a key role in several prominent projects, including the site planning engineering for the Spectrum Center for the Charlotte Hornets and the Gateway Village complexes, as well as various residential developments. He then moved to Turnbull Sigmon, where he established the engineering department, which grew to over 20 engineers under his leadership. As Principal Engineer, Sean contributed to significant projects such as Sun City – Carolina Lakes, Ardrey Kell, Mallard Creek high schools, and The Palisades. In 2005, he transitioned to GS Carolina,, shifting his focus to land development in the home-building industry.
C2 Design was founded by Sean in 2015, bringing his extensive experience in the construction industry the forefront. With a strong track record of collaborating with national builders and large developers in the Charlotte area and beyond, Sean has successfully put over 7,500 residential units on the ground.
